The Patchwork Legacy

A meaningful piece of StitchedMotif history, The Patchwork Legacy is the third original bag ever designed and handcrafted by Brett. It is made entirely from vintage Duross leather dating from 1976 to 1985, joining richly embossed pieces in earthy greens, warm browns, metallic rose, cream, and charcoal.

Its adjustable strap was created by merging reclaimed thrifted belts, giving these rescued materials a new purpose while preserving the character of their former lives. Oak and genuine turquoise beads accent the layered exterior pockets, while a patterned fabric lining and multiple interior compartments provide organization within its compact crossbody design.

Built from materials that have already carried decades of history, The Patchwork Legacy celebrates the earliest days of StitchedMotif and the beauty of allowing something old to become entirely new.
